Office of the Chief

Ministry of Social Welfare is one of the Ministries of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. The Ministry of Social Services has been implementing the socioeconomic development, welfare, rights protection and social security multidimensional programs of the destitute, poor, orphan, elderly, widow, endangered children, disabled, minorities and marginalized people of the country. Since the beginning of 1961, the social services department has a glorious history to implement the program. In view of social philosophy and development strategy, this department has many success stories.

District Social Welfare Office, Bogra is playing an important role with the activities of Social Service Directorate to make a hunger and poverty-free, information-technology middle income Bangladesh by 2021 and Bangladesh by 2041. Simultaneously, developmental activities of registered organizations are playing a supporting role.
